Who We Are
Hi, and thank you for checking out our website! Allow us to briefly introduce ourselves…
Matthew has had the privilege of serving with the St. Louis Metro Team since 2012. He has a degree in business administration, but also a great passion for seeing the Great Commission accomplished in St. Louis and around the world. Currently, he leads ministry movements at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. When he’s not busy serving with Cru, Matthew also enjoy hiking, camping, biking, sports, spending time with friends, reading, learning, and practicing the good old fashioned art of conversation.
Payton has served with Cru since 2020 in both North Carolina and internationally. This includes time serving at her alma mater UNC-Chapel Hill, leading a team for a year in Ecuador, and also serving at East Carolina University. She now serves at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. When she’s not serving students, you’re likely to find her talking with friends and family, working out, or enjoying a sunny beach.
Mission
College is a time of life when students are building a foundation for themselves not only educationally and vocationally, but also spiritually. This foundation is something that will guide them for the rest of their lives. For that reason, We’re passionate about making known the truth of Jesus Christ on college campuses so that students can experience lasting life change through Him.
Vision
Our goal is that students will learn the joy of walking with Jesus and be sent out upon graduation as Christ-centered laborers wherever they go, in whatever vocation they choose. We do this by winning students to Christ, building them up in their faith, and sending them out to the world. Imagine how the world could change if missionaries were sent all over the country and all over the world into the most influential sectors of society every year!
